History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Heward was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature lance.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion.
