History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. After a long history of fighting, Roland and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.
