History: He was born on a small isolated farm. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Navigator. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Navigator for the past few years.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Gunter was a troubled youth. History: He comes from a rich northern family. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Raymond and his spouse have recently divorced.
