His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Don took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up shortbow and armor he uses now. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Jocelyn's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
