Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered south to less war torn lands. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear.

Description: A stocky lighter skinned man, he prefers to wear flannel. His white hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.
Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.
History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
Motivation: Revenge; and a deep hatred of dire rats

Description: He is an average looking western male in his early mid-life. He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His long golden hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. He has a tattooed face.
Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.
History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

His right hand appears badly burned and disfigured. His black hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His eyes are gray and he is always smoking a pipe.
Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He enjoys reading and quiet.
History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

History: Born to a Roofer, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Robert has worked very hard to control his curse. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out
