Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: Hugh speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes.

Description: 5'5" and muscular, this eastern man is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes.. His moppish chestnut hair is in a traditional bowl cut. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is obsessed with his god.

History: Gifted from a young age, Heward studied abroad. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Description: This younger middle-aged man is dressed in earthy colors with a black and white handkerchief worn on his left side, and a wedding ring on his left hand. He wears a Stetson hat to hide his balding. His eyes are amber and catlike.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to clean up the streets
