History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A gifted student he started as a Performer, but he got bored and became a Barrister. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He tends to his Dyer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His first spouse was a Herbalist, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Human culture. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Adelard was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and money/treasure

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, John is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. John grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did John. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Courier for hire.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.
