When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Barkeep hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. His childhood dream was to be a Bookbinder, but he was a colossal failure. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Masseuse.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and expand his business

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Born in the east to a Detective, Percival learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Detective work with an outfit from a few towns over. Detective work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. After a long history of fighting, Reynard and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He worked as a nervous Miller and found it very stressful. He has never given up on his poetry dream.
