History: Gifted from a young age, Tim studied abroad. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Aldous was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Navigator. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Godfrey fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: This late middle aged man wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty yellow coat over it and is in decent physical shape. His chestnut hair is cut short. His green eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. Miles enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Map Maker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and wants to raise his children well

He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His white hair is long and unkept. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady brown eyes.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he desires power and/or immortality
