History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Junk Dealer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions

His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He tends to his Miner job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
