Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Nicholas embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Detective profession.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Scribe. He tends to his Scribe job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic left hand, he wears a white tunic with green highlights, and long tan pants that bunch up around his shoes. He keeps his red hair in a pixie cut. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Chad was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: To be a Dyer again; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the west. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Balimaar was born with his mother's beautiful face. A freak accident while working with his Adventurer mother left him crippled. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.
