History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. After a long history of fighting, Ernest and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing writing.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with his Map Maker father left him crippled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

His white hair and beard is wavy and long. His brown eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Banker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

With a patchy chestnut beard and wild chestnut hair. His skin is flawless and his violet eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: He is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. He also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Cory was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
