Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Jocelyn was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Blacksmith work with an outfit from a few towns over. Blacksmith work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Bernard embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Bernard lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. After a long history of fighting, Bernard and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Balimaar is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born into a rich family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
