Description: A stocky darker skinned man, he wears green painted combat armor at almost all times. His hair, while still mostly blonde, has prominent grey streaks. His half smiles and brown eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Gerard lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Map Maker and was forced into it by his family.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Painter. He struck the Painter job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle.

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears suspenders and green workpants. His shirt is black, and he wears a heavy green leather apron most of the time. His red hair is still thick. He has several tiny amber earrings on each ear.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He dresses like a well dressed Knight does. He has dyed his greying brown hair a little too much giving a sharp brown color. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines brown.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Tim was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Tim fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
