Miles was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. Guy was born on a far eastern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Unemployed. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
