History: Born in the north to a Miner, John learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Through the years after John was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. John's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Dyer. He tends to his Dyer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
