History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Diggory was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His childhood dream was to be a Fisher, but he was a colossal failure. He has achieved small success as a Ruler.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is an amazing painter.

History: Gifted from a young age, Trym studied abroad. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Description: This late middle aged man is renowned for his bright blue suits and hats and is in decent physical shape. He wears a broad hat to cover his moderate length brown hair. His eyes are likewise hazel. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Ruler they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Servant, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and an old rival family wants him found
