History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Thomas alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he wants revenge against giants

Description: This eastern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. His red hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His amber eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he desires power and/or immortality

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A freak accident while working with his Dilettante mother left him crippled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he is greedy

Description: He is an attractive man, lean and moderately muscular. He typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep blue leather and dull black iron scale mail. His brown hair is thinning but still full. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Gifted from a young age, Dustin studied abroad. Dustin was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Dustin decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shield.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
