Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. The war was a terrible time for him, and Simon does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Simon never married again.
