History: Gilbert was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He struck the Shepherd job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
