History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Chad alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He became a Bookbinder soon after.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Lewis grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
