Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. History: Robert was born with his father's beautiful face. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he has money and likes to spend it

Personality: Hugh is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Hugh was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
