Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Thomas embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: This northern man wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. His clothes are grease stained in places. His golden hair is knotted and matted. His hazel eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Doctor.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and expand his business

Description: He wears silk and lounges about seductively, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'5" when asserting himself. His brown hair and beard is wavy and long. His fierce brown eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Adelard was born with his father's beautiful face. A freak accident while working with his Beggar father left him crippled. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk.

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic left leg, he is dressed in earthy colors with a white and yellow handkerchief worn on his left side. He has dyed his greying auburn hair a little too much giving a sharp auburn color. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Gifted from a young age, Nicholas studied abroad. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Doctor and was forced into it by his family; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
