Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, William is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and a deep hatred of dire rats

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Miller. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Miller. He became a Miller soon after.

Motivation: To be a Server again; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Human, and stands approximately 6'2". He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it, and his gloved hand is found clutching a bastard sword. He has wavy red hair. His violet eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Engraver work with an outfit from a few towns over. Engraver work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He tends to his Engraver job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and retire the richest man in the east

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His hair is long and brown with streaks of black, and is pulled back with small green clips. His beard is black, braided, and well cared for. His brown eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Simon was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Simon fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes
