History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Robert was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents were killed by orcs in a raid when he was still a young child. The orcs captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Robert was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the orcs.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Roland was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He struck the Shipwright job and began his own company from there.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the west. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
