Description: A 6'1" western man, he wears a blue vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His grey leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his blue boots flare out at the collars. His hair, while still mostly black, has prominent grey streaks. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the west. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic right hand, he dresses well, typically a more casual-formal manner. His black hair is smooth and relatively long. His violet eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Scribe born in the past three hundred years. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: Roger hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Scribe. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with blue colored cloaks and clothing. He wears a top hat to cover his moderate length auburn hair. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Description: This tall, slender man wears a brown costume with the symbols of luck on his torso. Sporting a black mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His eyes are amber and catlike.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He takes great joy in being the best Carter in town.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He struck the Carter job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and wants to raise his children well

Description: He is wearing colorful clothing, dressed as a Map Maker. He has relatively dark skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. His white hair is long and unkept. His ears are large.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. The war was a terrible time for him, and Roland does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
