Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Hugh's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Knight but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He wants revenge against gnolls; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs

Description: This man stands a little under 5'8" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a tight fitting brown shirt and pants. His chestnut hair is greasy and uncared for. His fierce brown eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He has all his life been fascinated with singing.

History: He was born into a rich family. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered singing. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Arnold fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
