History: Diggory lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. During his travels, Alex and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Alex discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Alex fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.
