Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: He was raised in a island tribe. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Patrick took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up sai and armor he uses now. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with his Adventurer mother left him crippled. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 4 years.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Gerard lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Gerard has worked very hard to control his curse. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. He has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Gunter is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Gunter lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.
