History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. After coming to the age of reason, Roger took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Gerard liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week.
