William Burton, Male Human [Permalink]

Personal [hide]

Description: This northern man wears green trousers with yellow and brown striped suspenders. He wears various colorful collared shirts. His clothes are grease stained in places. He keeps his auburn hair in a flapper bob. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines gray.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Bertram Upton, Male Human [Permalink]

Personal [hide]

Description: A pudgy man standing about 5'7" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with brown lining and desert motifs. He sports a flattop hair cut. His skin is flawless and his blue eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Bertram liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. His red hair is singed and shortened. His eyes are a pleasant violet.

Personality: Dustin hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his dancing career. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Detective work with an outfit from a few towns over.
