He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside his partner.
