Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Through the years after Bertram was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Bertram's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He's also a talented Junk Dealer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature rapier.

Motivation: To unite with his brother; and to reunite with his absent father

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
