Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Marshal they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Cook, and he later adopted a second son.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature bastard sword.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Mercenary. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Hubert alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He's also a talented Ruler, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he wants revenge against giants
