Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Bookbinder profession.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Shipwright. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and a deep hatred of giants

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He's also a talented Gardener, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He now mingles about in high society.
