History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with violet lining and desert motifs, and is pretty ugly. His brown hair is long and unkept. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are blue.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying west to reunite his family. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it.

Personality: This man loves poetry and to teach people poetry more than just about anything. He is an amazing painter.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now mingles about in high society.
