His mother taught him the rudiments of the Sailor arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Description: This man is tall and muscular. He is well dressed, constantly wearing a pastel suit, green shirt, and blue tie. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy white hair. His half smiles and amber eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: Shane hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He feeds upon the attention of others.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing writing.

History: He was born in the west. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Aldous has worked very hard to control his curse. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: Human compassion; and a strong sense of loyalty to human people

Description: 5'6" and muscular, this eastern man is generally shirtless and showing off his tattooed chest. His long white hair reaches down to his waist. He has several tiny emerald earrings on each ear.

Personality: Alex is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Alex grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Alex. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Fisher they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Barkeep, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: He was raised in a island tribe. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He's also a talented Doctor, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Painter responsibilities is difficult.
