The brigands captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Sage profession.

History: He was born into a rich family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Gardener.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Bernard will drive conversation. He is an amazing painter.

History: Bernard was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
