Gerard Willoughby, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. He wears a deerstalker hat to cover his moderate length golden hair. His eyes are likewise hazel.
Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is an amazing painter.
History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Gerard took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up shortbow and armor he uses now. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. His chestnut hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a small hat. His eyes are likewise amber.
Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Marshal business.
History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Marshal and was forced into it by his family; and to clean up the streets
