Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Miller but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and retire the richest man in the east

Description: This malnourished man has a large violet mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his white robe. He wears a top hat to hide his balding. His eyes are brown and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Don speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A freak accident while working with his Miller father left him crippled. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against giants; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes drow are coming to abduct people. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Nicholas hails from a village terrorized by drow. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature halberd.

Motivation: A deep hatred of drow; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Guy was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he has passion for adventuring and risk
