History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Richard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order.
