History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His moppish brown hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his hazel eyes.

Personality: He is a Stableman first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. Patrick is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Patrick alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Stableman and was forced into it by his family; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and he would like to get married and retire

History: He comes from a rich western family. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Clerebold was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. When Clerebold reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.
