Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.
History: Gifted from a young age, Roland studied abroad. When Roland reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. After a long history of fighting, Roland and his spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes.. His hair is cut close to his head. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.
Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.
History: Born in the west to a Farmer, William learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He now owns his own business.
Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.

He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.
History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Description: 5'9" and muscular, this western man is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright black and grey, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. He has auburn hair. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: Bertram is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: Bertram lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Merchant for the past few years.
Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Merchant and was forced into it by his family.

Personality: Patrick is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit men.
History: Born to a Banker, his father struggled to pay the bills. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: He has a crush on the local Banker; and he would like to get married and retire
