Description: With grey face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he has a large brown mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his red robe. With bright red hair and a scraggly beard. His eyes are violet and beady.
Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.
History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.
History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.
Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and regain custody of his son

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). His hair is long and auburn with streaks of golden, and is pulled back with small black clips. His beard is golden, braided, and well cared for. His eyes are likewise gray. His teeth are white and perfect.
Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.
History: Randal was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.
History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Description: He stands about 5'3" and likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. His left leg appears badly burned and disfigured. He has a long chestnut beard with little hanging trinkets. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.
History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.
Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and to reunite with his absent mother
