History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Alex grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. The war was a terrible time for him, and Richard does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
