History: He was born in a small forest village. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a large cave. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Gilbert took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up shield and armor he uses now. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and he is greedy

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. His first spouse was a Crown-heir, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.
