History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Gerald was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature glaive.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with his Stableman father left him crippled. He was granted psionic powers by his dying brother.
