History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. Through the years after Dean was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Dean's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now mingles about in high society.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
