History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Bertram grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Bertram. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: He was born into a rich family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he wears suspenders and white workpants. His shirt is brown, and he wears a heavy white leather apron most of the time. He has dyed his greying golden hair a little too much giving a sharp golden color. His eyes are likewise amber. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Description: The light-skinned man stands 5'9" and tends to wear a blue poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. His tied-back hair is red. His hazel eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: He was born in a small plains village. Chad was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Chad decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world.
