History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. When John reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: He hates drow. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Charles grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Charles was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the drow.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Layabout profession.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has taken up work as a Bather and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.

Motivation: To be a Layabout again; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes orcs are coming to abduct people. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered orcs who tried to eat his hand. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Revenge.

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Humans. His skin is dark but he possesses many black ritualistic tattoos. He is renowned for his bright grey suits and hats. His black hair is singed and shortened. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the east. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Chad grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Chad. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.
